Geeky Dad from San Diego. Make my living doing design and marketing for a quirky brewery, an open and accepting church and also doing the JoCo website along with miscellaneous graphic needs for the THO. In my free time I start all sorts of lofty geeky and artsy projects (and sometimes finish them).

JOUST: After playing Joust Mania onboard with the family for several sailings, I decided to make my own set. With copious amounts of help from the master Loki my family now has our own suitcase with Joust Mania that we've enjoyed at family reunions and campouts. With Loki's blessing, we're hosting a shadow event this year to share it with all of you :)

TOMATOES: I have an addiction. I've loved gardening since I was a kid, and then during covid I found out just how deep the rabbit hole went with tomatoes when you start from seed. Some people collect baseball cards, coins, figurines - me? Tomato seeds! I currently have around 300 types in my collection, and started 58 different seedlings this season alone. I've hosted two Super Seed Sunday events (yep, on Super Bowl Sunday) in my neighborhood to get people indoctrinated into tomato growing and share my collection.
