Hi! I'm an old fart who has been attending Irish sessions in the DC area for over 5 years. I'm not a professional, I'm just happy to play. I play mandolin and flute and pennywhistle. I hope you'll come to the Beginning Irish Session on Friday, 2pm, as an introduction to sessions in general and a place to play some tunes. All instruments are welcome! There is music with chords for guitar and ukulele players. One year we even had a soprano sax! My wife, Sue, and I may also pop up in odd, unscheduled places during the week playing Irish and folk songs. Come on by!
